Trippo Voice Translator Plus allows you to translate phrases on the fly just by speaking into your phone, or typing.
The great thing about Trippo Voice Translator Plus is its simplicity. You start by selecting your 'from' and 'to' languages from the drop-down menus. Then, you either hit the microphone button and speak what you want to translate, or type it into the text box. Hit translate and you'll get a text translation and a spoken translation.
There are an impressive 27 languages to translate between in Trippo Voice Translator Plus, ranging from Arabic to Urdu (see the full list in the Notes section below). Not all of them support speech playback and at the moment you can only make voice translations from English (Cellictica says this will change soon).
The translations in Trippo Voice Translator Plus aren't always completely accurate, but they should be enough for the person you're speaking to to at least figure out the gist of what you want to say.
A neat feature of the app is that you can slow down or speed up the speech playback, making it easier for you to practice saying the words.
Although not everything is completely free, Trippo Voice Translator Plus provides a quick and easy way to perform translations on the move.
